NLTF undergoes rebirth under Adeyanju

The Supreme Court’s recent ruling granting states exclusive authority over lotteries has sparked discussions on gaming governance in Nigeria.

Amid this, Comrade Tosin Adeyanju, appointed as Executive Secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund on July 17, 2024, has demonstrated transformative leadership, steering the NLTF toward significant achievements aligned with its mission of promoting “Good Causes.”

Under Adeyanju’s Leadership, he has shown strategic vision by developing a four year road map from now till 2028 prioritising transparency and measurable results.

He has also strengthened institutional partnerships for sustainable impact providing healthcare intervention by donating medical equipment to hospitals in multiple states.

Under his stewardship, he constructed solar-powered boreholes to enhance water access in underserved communities and also provide irrigation tools to farmers nationwide to boost agriculture.

The NLTF also supported IDP camps with food, clothing, and sports materials while he launched campaigns on responsible gaming and drug prevention for youths.

In terms of rural development, the NLTF introduced solar energy in remote areas and partnered with the EFCC for transparency in remittance.

Despite the evolving legal framework, the NLTF under Adeyanju has delivered impactful programs benefiting communities nationwide. His leadership showcases how visionary governance can inspire progress, rekindle public trust, and position the NLTF as a driver of national development.
