Pan-Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) has raised alarm over the declaration of emergency rule in Rivers State by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
PANDEF, which noted that the crisis is ordinarily avoidable, added that they are studying the situation and will come up with their position soon.
PANDEF, in a terse statement by its National Spokesman, Chief Dr. Obiuwevbi Christopher Ominimini, said, “Pandef is seriously alarmed by the state of emergency declared in Rivers State due to a crisis that is ordinarily avoidable.
“We are therefore studying the situation and we shall soon come up with Pandef’s position.”
