In a continued effort to support essential causes across Nigeria, the National Lottery Trust Fund has donated critical medical equipment to the Primary Health Centre in Kagoro and sports materials to Government Secondary School in Fadan Kagoma, both located in Kaduna State.

The medical items donated to the Kagoro Health Centre include five delivery beds, two microscopes, two genotype machines, five large oxygen cylinders, four hospital patient beds, five patient tables, five examination lamps, a medical incinerator for waste disposal, three office chairs, four office tables, four reception chairs, two air conditioners, three storage shelves, and three standing fans.

Comrade Tosin Adeyanju, the Executive Secretary of the NLTF, stated that the donation is part of the Trust Fund’s broader mission to serve communities in need and provide vital support to underserved areas across Nigeria.

He urged the Kagoro community to take ownership of the facilities and make full use of the equipment.

“The National Lottery Trust Fund has a strong commitment to improving lives across Nigeria,” Adeyanju said.

“We’ve made numerous contributions to Kaduna State in the past, including donations of sports equipment to 50 public primary schools in 2016, first aid kits to secondary schools in 2019, and essential Covid-19 supplies in 2020.”

The NLTF has also supported local healthcare by supplying vital equipment to medical centres, including the Kwoi and Kagarko Comprehensive Healthcare Centres. “This donation is a reflection of the president’s commitment to your well-being, and we hope it will further improve the quality of life here,” Adeyanju added.

Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, expressed her gratitude for the NLTF’s support.

During a courtesy visit, she praised the NLTF for its continued efforts in reaching out to communities in the state.

“Your strategic plans and commitment to the welfare of the people show that you are truly ready to serve the Nigerian people,” Balarabe said.

Obadiah Saukyai, the Executive Chairman of Kaura Local Government, also expressed his thanks to the NLTF for its generous donation, emphasising how it would benefit the health centre and the wider community.

Hon. Bantex Bala Jnr, Special Assistant to the Vice President, underscored the significance of the donation, reminding the community that the Federal Government recognizes its needs and is working to meet them. He encouraged the residents to maximize the use of the donated resources.

The community’s traditional ruler, His Royal Highness Ufwai Bonet, also acknowledged the NLTF’s efforts.

“We are grateful for your continued support in enhancing healthcare services.”

Yusuf Duniyan, President of the Kagoro Development Association, called on the community to take good care of the equipment.

“When we take ownership of these resources, it encourages further support from organizations like the NLTF,” he stated.

Esther Obadiah, representing the Kagoro Primary Health Centre, expressed her gratitude, assuring the NLTF that the equipment would be used to its full potential to improve healthcare in the community.

In Fadan Kagoma, Government Secondary School received much-needed sports materials, including track suits, socks, jerseys, caps, and soccer boots.

Iswa Liberty, the school principal, thanked the NLTF for the timely donation, noting that it would help the students pursue their athletic activities.

Tanko Dogara, Chairman of Jema’a Local Government, who accompanied the NLTF team to the school, commended the Fund’s ongoing support for local schools and institutions.
