The air was filled with excitement and anticipation as the New Year Mega Lottery wrapped up a significant training session for its State Business Development Officers (SBDOs).
The three-day event, held from Monday, November 11 to 13, 2024, brought together representatives from 15 states across Nigeria to enhance their skills and knowledge in growing the lottery’s presence nationwide.
State Business Development Officers from Enugu, FCT, Benue, Ondo, Akwa-Ibom, Imo, Abia, Lagos, Nasarawa, Plateau, Kano, Anambra, Oyo, Kogi, and Edo participated in the comprehensive training program, designed to equip them with the tools needed for their roles in each state.
The training kicked off with a warm welcome from the Head of Operations, Osebeyo Emmanuel, who addressed the attendees with an inspiring introduction.
He noted the importance of their roles in driving the lottery’s success and growth throughout the country.
During the sessions, the Business Development Officer, Victor Ochapa, guided the group through practical exercises aimed at developing and strengthening the business within their respective regions.
Ochapa focused on strategies to ensure effective communication and collaboration with distributors and marketers — key partners in the growth of New Year Mega Lottery.
He also stressed the importance of focus and diligence in carrying out their responsibilities, advising the SBDOs to maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders to maximize engagement and expansion efforts.
New Year Mega Lottery is a Limited Liability Company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission under the Companies and Allied Matters Act, 1990.
It is regulated by Nigeria Lottery Regulatory Commission and has a corporate office in Abuja, with operations extending across multiple states in Nigeria.
As the training came to a close, attendees expressed their enthusiasm for implementing the knowledge and strategies gained over the course of the three days.
With these newly equipped officers, New Year Mega Lottery is poised for continued growth and success in the coming year.
