Alongside Bwala’s appointment, Tinubu also named three other key figures to lead major national agencies. According to a statement issued by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the appointments include:

Mr. Olawale Olopade as Director-General of the National Sports Commission. A seasoned sports administrator, Olopade previously served as Commissioner of Youth and Sports in Ogun State and chaired the Local Organizing Committee for the 2024 National Sports Festival.
Dr. Abisoye Fagade as Director-General of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism. Dr. Fagade is a professional in marketing communication and the founder of Sodium Brand Solutions, bringing a wealth of experience in the hospitality sector.
Dr. Adebowale Adedokun as Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement. Dr. Adedokun previously held a leadership role in the bureau as Director of Research, Training, and Strategic Planning.
