Fulham eye deadline day move for Milan Chukwueze

Date:

Premier League side Fulham are reportedly seeking a last-minute deal with Milan for Samuel Chukwueze in the final hours of deadline day, but the West Londoners face a race against time to get a deal done before the deadline strikes at 11pm.

According to reports from transfer experts Matteo Moretto and Fabrizio Romano, the Cottagers are attempting to pull off a last-minute deal for Chukwueze.

Milan have reportedly secured a deal for Joao Felix from Fulham’s neighbours Chelsea, which could push the Nigeria international further down the pecking order in San Siro.

Though Milan spent around €28m to secure his signature in the summer of 2023, Chukwueze has often had to settle for a role as an understudy to Christian Pulisic, and sometimes to Yunus Musah, who has often featured out on the right wing this season.

Chukwueze has appeared in 19 Serie A matches this term, but only eight of those have come as a starter.

It has been a busy transfer deadline day for the Rossoneri, who have officially announced the signing of Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord.

They are expected to close a deal for Chelsea’s Joao Felix, and are also due to send Ismael Bennacer to Marseille, welcome Warren Bondo from Monza and send Kevin Zeroli out on loan to make the latter deal possible.
