Chukwueze returns for Parma clash As Bologna show Interest

Date:

Nigerian winger, Samuel Chukwueze will make his long-awaited return to AC Milan’s matchday squad ahead of Sunday’s Serie A clash with Parma, Lapalabras reports.

The 25-year-old has been sidelined since December 29 after suffering a muscle injury (a lesion of his left biceps femoris) during a match against Roma.

Following a successful recovery and a return to regular training with the team, Chukwueze is now ready to feature, though he is expected to start on the bench according to a report on Milannews.it.

While Milan fans celebrate his recovery and return, Chukwueze’s future with the Rossoneri could be in question.

The talented winger, who has drawn attention for his performances this season, is reportedly being tracked by another Serie A club, Bologna.

Bologna has shown interest in the Nigerian, although no official offers have been made yet, the report revealed.

Chukwueze has scored once in 19 games for AC Milan this season – six goals and four assists in 55 appearances across all competitions, a record that has raised concerns about his future at the club.

Since joining AC Milan in 2023 from Villarreal, Chukwueze has struggled to replicate the form that made him a standout player in La Liga.

As the January transfer window draws to a close, Chukwueze’s return to action may spark further interest from both domestic and international clubs.
