Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has strongly denied rumors that he ended his four-year relationship with Norwegian partner Rikke Hermine over a disagreement regarding a prenuptial agreement. The claims, which circulated on social media, suggested that Boniface prioritized his financial security, choosing to avoid future risks associated with marriage without a prenup.
The gossip, which was published by African Hub, alleged that the Bayer Leverkusen forward had focused on protecting his wealth rather than continuing his relationship.
In a swift response, Boniface took to X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday to shut down the false reports. He dismissed the rumors as baseless and accused those spreading them of having no understanding of the situation.
“Stop posting fake stuff you know nothing about… Una, just carry your phone; no, know Wetin Dey sup, just post. No be, everybody be like una sister. So respect yourself. Everything you guys say about her is all lies,” Boniface wrote in part, using Pidgin English to address the false claims.
The 23-year-old striker’s swift and firm response puts to rest the speculation surrounding his relationship, reaffirming that there is no truth to the rumors.
