Ndidi to miss Wolves clash

Date:

Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy confirmed that Wilfred Ndidi will not be available for selection in their upcoming Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the King Power Stadium.

Ndidi, who suffered a hamstring injury during Leicester’s 2-2 draw against Brighton & Hove on December 8, has been undergoing rehabilitation and is still not fit to return.

Van Nistelrooy provided a positive update on Harry, stating that he is back in full team training and available for selection.

“Harry has been fully a part of team training,” Van Nistelrooy explained.

“He’s available for selection again which is very positive news for the team, for the squad.

“Wilfred is in his rehab. He’s not on the pitch so he’s not available for selection.”

However, Ndidi’s absence remains a significant concern for the Foxes, as the Nigerian midfielder had been a key figure, starting every match in the Premier League this season before his injury.

Leicester struggled without him in the lineup, suffering a heavy 4-0 defeat to Newcastle United in their last match, with Hamza Choudhury and Oliver Skipp filling the central midfield roles.
