Brazilian football club Corinthians have received a significant financial boost in their bid to sign World Cup winner Paul Pogba, with an escort website offering a substantial sum to aid the move. This development comes as the French midfielder looks for a new club following his departure from Juventus earlier this year.
Pogba, who has been out of action after serving a four-year drugs ban, had his suspension reduced to 18 months earlier this season, making him eligible to return to football as soon as March 2025. The midfielder is currently a free agent and has been linked to several clubs across Europe, with Ligue 1’s Marseille and a potential surprise move to Manchester City among the options.
However, Corinthians have emerged as a serious contender for Pogba’s signature, bolstered by an unexpected financial offer from Fatal Model, an escort website that has reportedly pledged £515,000-a-month ($R4million) to support the move. The offer comes as part of the website’s strategy to strengthen ties with Brazilian football, with Corinthians already on its radar.
Fatal Model has previously sponsored Brazilian Serie A club Vitoria and has expressed its enthusiasm about supporting Pogba’s potential transfer to Corinthians. Nina Sag, the director of Fatal Model, commented, “We would like to express our interest in actively contributing to making this operation possible, which certainly represents a unique opportunity for everyone involved.”
The connection between Pogba and Corinthians has also been fueled by the player’s reported interest in reuniting with former Barcelona teammate Memphis Depay in Brazil. Sources suggest that Pogba has indicated a willingness to join the Brazilian side, jokingly telling influencer Luva de Pedreiro that he would consider a contract “for free”—though a lucrative wage packet is expected.
Corinthians president Augusto Melo is also keen to bring the 31-year-old to Sao Paulo, and discussions with Fatal Model reportedly began several months ago during a visit to the club’s headquarters. With the backing of Fatal Model, Corinthians’ bid to sign Pogba could gain momentum, signaling an exciting new chapter for the World Cup winner.
