Bill Gates has expressed deep regret over his meetings with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, calling the encounters “foolish” and saying he “regrets every minute” of them.
In an interview with Australia’s 9News, Gates said, “In retrospect, that was a dead end. I’m one of many people who regret ever knowing him.
” He emphasised that their interactions were limited to discussions about philanthropy and denied any inappropriate conduct.
Gates also addressed emails attributed to Epstein making sensational claims about him, stating, “That email was never sent… it’s false.”
His ex-wife, Melinda French Gates, reflected on the revelations in the documents, describing the situation as “unbelievably sad.”
