The Nation’s Tajudeen Adebanjo Bags Al-Mu’minaat Award of Excellence

Senior Correspondent with The Nation newspaper, Alhaji Tajudeen Adebanjo, has been honoured with a prestigious Award of Excellence by Al-Mu’minaat (The Believing Women) Organisation.

He was recognised for his outstanding contributions to media advocacy in support of Islamic propagation and his consistent service to humanity.

The award was presented during the grand ceremony marking the organisation’s 30th anniversary, held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in Lagos.

Adebanjo is a media advisor to many organisations including Rhesus Solution Initiative (RSI), Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN), Jaiz Charity and Development Foundation, The Companion, Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation (ZSF), NASFAT, The Muslim Congress (TMC), Al-Mu’minaat, The Criterion, the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN) and National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).
