€75m Osimhen Ponders Future Amid Saudi, Turkish Offers

Date:

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is reassessing his next career move as interest from Italian giants Juventus appears to have cooled, paving the way for other suitors, including Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal, to make bold moves for the Nigerian forward.

According to Football Italia, Juventus are no longer expected to pursue a deal for the Napoli-owned striker following the imminent departure of the club’s sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli—Osimhen’s former ally at Napoli and the man credited with bringing him to Serie A.

Osimhen, who spent last season on loan at Turkish champions Galatasaray, is now firmly on the transfer market with Napoli ready to sell. His contract includes a €75 million release clause applicable to clubs outside Italy, sparking global interest.

While Juventus had initially expressed interest in securing his signature despite Napoli’s reluctance to negotiate with a direct league rival, Giuntoli’s exit has reportedly ended any serious prospect of a deal with the Bianconeri.

This development shifts attention to Osimhen’s next destination, with Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal reportedly preparing an audacious financial package to lure the Nigerian international to the Middle East. Though the full terms remain undisclosed, reports suggest the offer could significantly surpass what Osimhen earned in Europe.

Meanwhile, Turkish side Galatasaray—where Osimhen impressed during his loan spell—are also reportedly keen on securing his services permanently, tabling an annual salary offer of over ₦27 billion.

Despite the flurry of interest, the 25-year-old forward is believed to be carefully evaluating his options, considering both sporting ambition and financial reward. His future is likely to unfold in the coming weeks as the summer transfer window opens in full.

With Osimhen remaining a crucial figure for Nigeria’s national team, any decision on his club future is expected to weigh heavily on his preparation for upcoming international duties, including World Cup qualifiers.
