The Niger Delta Development Agenda has congratulated the newly appointed Chairman of the South-South Development Commission, SSDC, Chibudom Nwuche.
It also congratulated the Managing Director of the SSDC Usoro Offiong Akpabio, and all Executive members of the South-South Development Commission, SSDC.
In a statement signed by NDDA Convener, Comr. Iteveh Nurudeen Ekpokpobe , he commended President Tinubu for the creation of the SSDC after collapsing the Ministry of Niger Delta Development.
NDDA convener also , Iteveh also showered encomium on the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio and the distinguished Senate as well as the National Assembly for their legislative roles geared towards the development of the Niger Delta Region.
The NDDA also declared support for the new management in every material particular.
It would be recalled that President Tinubu approved the Chairman, MD and Executive members of the newly SSDC.
These include: Chairman: Chibudom Nwuche — Rivers; Managing Director: Usoro Offiong Akpabio — Akwa-ibom, while on the Executive Directors: there are Projects: Hon. Marcus Nie Eji — Rivers, Social and Human Capital Development: Engr. Aganaba Preye Steven from Bayelsa State, Corporate Services: Dr. Timi Alari Ayibatonye — Delta, Commercial and Environmental Development: Hon. Joseph Ugheoke — Edo, and Finance: Ambassador Sony Abang — Cross-River.
Also state representatives are:Cross River: Rt. Hon. Larry Odey, Bayelsa: Charles Zuofa, Akwa Ibom: Dr. Nkereuwem Ebong, Rivers: Engr. Chika Chinedu, Edo: Barrister Femi Oise, Delta: Dr. Charles Sylvester Enukhowhate, while zonal representatives are North West: Tijani Yahaya Kaura, North East: Tabitha Iliya Sallah, North Central: Alh. Yusuf Rasaq Amao, South East: Joseph Mmamal, and South West: Hon. Bukonola Braimoh.
