Diddy Faces $10M Lawsuit from Designer Over Balcony Incident

Date:

Fashion designer Bryana “Bana” Bongolan has filed a $10 million lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging a series of abusive actions, including being dangled over a 17th-story balcony and molested by the disgraced music mogul. The lawsuit, filed on November 27, 2024, in Los Angeles Superior Court, adds to the mounting legal challenges Combs faces amid charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.

Bongolan claims the terrifying balcony ordeal occurred on September 26, 2016, following one of Combs’ notorious “freak offs.” According to the lawsuit, Combs stormed into Cassie Ventura’s apartment intoxicated, forcing his way into a room where Bongolan and her girlfriend were sleeping. After her girlfriend hid in the bathroom, Bongolan retreated to the balcony. She alleges that Combs grabbed her, groped her, and lifted her over the edge of the 17th-floor railing while screaming, “Do you know what the f**k you did?”

The suit states Ventura intervened, shouting at Combs to stop, prompting him to pull Bongolan back over the railing. However, he allegedly slammed her onto the balcony’s furniture before releasing her.

Bongolan’s lawsuit claims the incident was part of a broader pattern of violence and intimidation she witnessed while working with Combs and Ventura. She alleges seeing Ventura with bruises and black eyes, which she says were inflicted by Combs. In one instance, she claims to have witnessed the pair throw knives at each other during a heated argument.

She also recounts a disturbing photoshoot where Combs allegedly screamed, “I’m the motherf**king devil” and threatened to kill her, leaving her in fear for her life.

The allegations against Combs are part of a growing list of lawsuits accusing him of abuse and violence. Ventura, Combs’ ex-girlfriend, previously sued him for rape and abuse, a case settled for $30 million in November 2023. Surveillance footage from a 2016 hotel altercation, which showed Combs physically assaulting Ventura, further highlighted his alleged history of violence.

Combs, who is currently in prison awaiting trial on racketeering and sex trafficking charges, has denied all accusations and pleaded not guilty. Judges have twice denied him bail, citing concerns over potential witness tampering.

Bongolan’s lawsuit calls Combs’ behavior “outrageous and abhorrent,” emphasizing the lasting harm it has caused her. The suit seeks justice and accountability, asserting that his actions violated her dignity and autonomy.

With over 30 lawsuits now filed against Combs, the former music mogul’s legal troubles continue to mount, painting a grim picture of his alleged misconduct.
