The 18-year-old center-back has caught the eye of Etihad scouts with his impressive performances during his debut season in La Liga. Bah joined Real Valladolid on loan from Sierra Leonean club AIK Freetong, where he initially gained recognition. Standing at 6ft 5in, Bah has made seven appearances in La Liga this season, despite originally being slated to play for Valladolid’s B team. His debut against Real Sociedad marked a historic moment, making him the first Sierra Leone-born player to feature in Spain’s top division.
The towering defender is also attracting interest from other Premier League sides, including Newcastle United, Everton, and Crystal Palace.
Bah began his youth career with AIK Freetong in 2021 and later starred on loan at Sierra Leone National Premier League club Freetonians SLIFA before joining Valladolid. In addition to Bah, the Premier League champions are reportedly eyeing Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi, with a £50.3 million release clause in his contract.
