The APC Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) Support Organization in Kano State has rejected the rumored defection of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
At a press conference on Saturday in Kano, the group said his return could jeopardize the party’s stability.
Leader of the Group, Comrade Aminu Mu’azu Fagge, “The APC Persons With Disabilities Support Organization, Kano State, representing the collective interests of our members, unequivocally and categorically rejects Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso’s potential return to the APC. This decision is guided by our commitment to uphold the party’s stability, prosperity, and unity.”
The Group accused Kwankwaso of prioritizing personal interests over party unity, warning that his return could treat the APC “like his personal company, similar to his past associations.”
While noting that the group welcomes individuals who genuinely seek to contribute to the APC’s growth, it stressed that there would be “zero tolerance for discord,” emphasizing that the APC “is not one person’s property but a party for all good citizens of Nigeria.”
The organisation also reaffirmed its loyalty to the APC leadership under Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje and Hon. Abdullahi Abbas Sanusi, describing them as leaders who embody the party’s values and principles.
Commending the APC’s inclusive approach to governance, the group expressed appreciation for the welfare initiatives targeted at Persons With Disabilities under President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
