Super Eagles slips to 44th in Latest FIFA Ranking

Date:

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have fallen eight places in the latest FIFA men’s rankings, according to a release from the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA).

The updated rankings, published on FIFA’s official website on Thursday, show the three-time African champions dropping from 36th to 44th in the global standings.

In Africa, the Super Eagles also saw a drop, moving from 4th to 5th position. Their recent performance in November, which included one draw and one loss, contributed to the decline.

Morocco retained the top spot in Africa, followed by Senegal, Algeria, and Egypt in the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
