10,446 UTME Mock Results Still Pending as JAMB Releases 115,735

Date:

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results for 115,735 candidates who participated in the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). However, 10,446 results are still under processing, with candidates eagerly awaiting their scores.

In a statement issued by Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, it was revealed that 200,113 candidates had initially registered for the mock exam held on April 10, 2025. Out of this number, 126,181 candidates sat for the exam, but 73,844 candidates were absent, and 88 candidates failed biometric verification.

The results of 115,735 candidates have already been made available, while the remaining 10,446 results are expected to be processed and released soon.

The board encouraged candidates to check their results by following a simple procedure. JAMB stated that candidates can access their results via SMS by sending “MOCKRESULT” (in capital letters) to 55019 or 66019 using the mobile number registered with JAMB. A response SMS will then be sent with the result details.

JAMB also reminded candidates to remain focused and continue preparing for the main UTME, urging them to take advantage of ongoing innovations aimed at improving the examination process and serving their interests better.

The release of the Mock UTME results marks a crucial milestone as candidates gear up for the main exam, which plays a significant role in determining their admission to tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
