Veteran actress Dupe Jayesimi was moved to tears on Mother’s Day after receiving a brand-new car from her junior colleague, Biola Adebayo, and other well-wishers.
The emotional moment followed Jayesimi’s candid revelations about her struggles with childlessness, a failed marriage, and multiple unsuccessful IVF attempts. She shared her painful experiences on Biola Adebayo’s podcast, including the heartbreak of raising her younger sister’s child, only to be reminded that she was not the biological mother.
“I raised my younger sister’s child, but on the child’s wedding day, my sister told me, ‘You cannot sit there; even if you spent millions, the child is still mine.’ That broke me,” Jayesimi recounted.
In a video shared on Instagram, Jayesimi broke down in tears as Adebayo handed her the car keys, reassuring her of love and appreciation.
