In a blistering interview, U.S. President Donald Trump warned Tehran that Iran would face complete and utter destruction if it ever attempts to assassinate him or carry out threats against his life.
Speaking on NewsNation, Trump said he has issued “very firm instructions” to his military and advisers that “if anything ever happens, they’re going to wipe them off the face of this earth.”
Trump’s remarks come amid a heightened period of tension between Washington and Tehran — tensions fueled by alleged assassination threats from Iranian officials and escalating rhetoric from both capitals.
