A fresh twist has emerged in the ongoing paternity controversy involving Nigerian superstar Davido and a young girl claiming to be his daughter.
The drama resurfaced after the teenager, known as Mitchelle Anuoluwapo Adeleke (Anu), updated her Instagram bio to describe herself as “Davido’s oldest daughter.” The move quickly attracted reactions online, as many questioned the authenticity of the claim.
Davido has consistently denied the allegations and stated that he has undergone multiple DNA tests—five in total—at different facilities, all confirming that the girl is not his biological daughter. His team has also threatened legal action over the repeated claims.
Social media users reacted strongly to Anu’s bio update. While some mocked the claim and criticized her for identifying herself as Davido’s daughter, others sympathized with her situation. Many argued that she should not label herself as his child without public acknowledgment from the singer.
The controversy intensified earlier when Anu accused Davido of using derogatory language toward her and her mother. She expressed disappointment, stating that she did not expect to be “cursed out and bullied” by someone she believed could answer her questions about her identity.
