Veteran Fuji musician, King Saheed Osupa, has praised renowned football agent and founder of Water FC Academy, Makanjuola Nureni (popularly known as MK), for his transformative contributions to grassroots football development in Nigeria.
Osupa made the commendation during a courtesy visit to MK in Abuja, where he described the FIFA-licensed agent as a “devoted supporter of the masses” and a “lovely brother” whose efforts have gone beyond football to empower underprivileged youth.
“Mr. Nureni Muala Kajola Kajolowo is one of the most respected football agents in Nigeria,” Osupa said. “He has tirelessly worked to elevate numerous Nigerian footballers and has played a vital role in advancing the game at the grassroots level.”
Makanjuola, through his Water FC Academy, has supported over 36 young athletes by offering technical football training alongside education in moral values and discipline. Osupa likened the academy to a “charity home,” citing its socially-driven and inclusive model as a beacon of hope for aspiring players.
In addition to sports development, MK has also facilitated visa processing for over 2,000 Nigerians, further cementing his reputation as a trusted and effective consultant for young people seeking opportunities abroad.
Water FC has gained national and international recognition for producing talents who have gone on to represent Nigeria on the global stage. Osupa’s visit highlights the increasing appreciation for private football academies in nurturing the next generation of Nigerian sports stars.
“May the Almighty continue to support you as you nurture our country’s talent,” Osupa concluded.
