The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday begged the South East chapter of the party not to carry out its threat of dumping the party.Recall that on Wednesday after their meeting in Enugu state, South East bloc of the party projecting Sunday Udeh-Okoye as the PDP National Secretary threatened to dump the party if their position is not accepted.
The Acting National Chairman of PDP, Amb. Umar Damagum, represented by the Deputy National Chairman, Taofeek Arapaja, has, however, received the resolution of the South East at the party national Secretariat on Tuesday. Receiving their resolution, Damagum cautioned the Sout East chapter not to dump the party, but work towards amicably resolution of whatever is happening, adding that PDP is the only natural party in the country.
