Mrs. Pamela Gordon Carty, leader of the Africa Mundus Caribbean Continuum, CEO of Simply Masters Group of Companies and former Minister of Health, Social Development and Labor of Country Sint Maarten, has extended her heartfelt solidarity to the military junta in Burkina Faso headed by Ibrahim Traore, over what she described as “his resistance to devalue Africa by the Western World”.
Ibrahim Traore’s insistence, beliefs and promotion of Africa and the black race must be commended, she said.
Mrs.Gordon Carty who stated this in a statement made available to newsmen in Benin commended the Burkina Faso leader for his present posture of Africa and Africans must believe in themselves and rely on themselves to develop and be self reliance and self sufficient.
She condemned in totality the ongoing attempts to distort the truth about Africa and its diaspora, especially in the present world increasingly fraught with misinformation and fabricated narratives.
According to her, for decades, the African diaspora has faced toxic behavior and discrimination that must come to an end. It is imperative that we demand transparency and truthful dissemination of news worldwide, particularly for the younger generation.
“The media must be held accountable for perpetuating falsehoods that serve a specific agenda, inciting social unrest through manipulated and inflated information. Such actions are not only detrimental to our communities but also undermine the very essence of world peace, a goal that we all strive for”.
Mrs. Gordon Carty emphasized that the time has passed for associating Black individuals with minority status or lesser groups.
“The descendants of the African diaspora have built kingdoms, rich cultures, and educational systems that have significantly contributed to today’s society. It is time for this truth to be acknowledged and for our educational systems to reflect this reality.
“The Africa Mundus Caribbean Continuum, alongside the Simply Masters Foundation, stands firmly with all African leaders who advocate for the rights and dignity of the Black diaspora.
“We call upon leaders across the globe to unite in the pursuit of a better world” not just for ourselves, but for our children and future generations.
“I for one have never and will not be part of no scheme that entails degradation of no human being in whatever fashion or form, whether it be physical, emotional, spiritual or verbal.
“That is an act of fear and for losers. I commend anyone that within the chaos seeks to set them aside by not jumping on the common van wagon of inclusion
“For once people should want to stand out by doing the right thing instead of wanting to be noticed and or accepted by others for doing the wrong thing, be part of the wrong and harmful spreading of negativity. Toxic behaviour reflects an inferiority complex and an unfulfilled nation.
Together, let us instead foster an environment of respect, understanding, and collaboration that honors our shared history and paves the way for a brighter future. Let us all do our little part and we will all achieve together, a bigger impact.
Mrs Pamela Gordon Carty, a dedicated leader who served as a minister and left a significant mark with her impactful policies, also
