Nigerian international and Galatasaray forward, Victor Osimhen, has reacted to growing rumours linking him with a summer move to Italian giants, Juventus, amid mounting interest from top European clubs.
In an interview with Tuttomercatoweb on Friday, Osimhen, currently on loan from Napoli, stated that he is focused on the present and remains fully committed to Galatasaray, who he says will “always remain in my heart.”
“There are always rumours about me, but I live in the moment,” Osimhen said. “Now I’m enjoying all this. The fans have supported me in an incredible way—not only me, but also my teammates and my family. The best decision for everyone will be made. But Galatasaray will always remain in my heart.”
Osimhen’s remarks come as Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Juventus are reportedly monitoring the prolific striker ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old continued his red-hot form in front of goal on Friday, scoring his 17th goal of 2025 in Galatasaray’s crucial match against Samsunspor, helping his team hold onto their slim lead at the top of the Turkish Super Lig following a recent derby loss to Besiktas.
His latest goal puts him joint-third among Europe’s top scorers in the 2025 calendar year, alongside Robert Lewandowski of Barcelona and Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting, all on 17 goals. He now sits ahead of the likes of Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane (14 goals) and Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy (13 goals).
Only PSG’s Ousmane Dembele (24 goals) and Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe (19 goals) have scored more in 2025.
Osimhen, who previously played for Lille and has been a key figure in Napoli’s recent success, has become a fan favourite in Turkey, with his performances being pivotal in Galatasaray’s title charge.
While speculation around his future continues, Osimhen has made it clear that any decision regarding his next destination will be made at the end of the season, with his current focus firmly on finishing strong with Galatasaray.
