Security Agents Arrest Four For Threats To Kidnap And Cyber Stalking In Anambra

The joint security force in Anambra State on Thursday arrested four men in Ihiala, Ihiala local government area for threatening to kidnap people or cause violence and cyber stalking.

This followed investigation based on information received over time about the faceless individuals/criminals.

The four suspects are: Chimezie Ezebuo, Chinaza Ndimani, Chinecherem Okafor and Nzube Azubuike all males and from Okohia, Ihiala.

The Operatives recovered Phones and SIM cards used by the suspects to threaten their victims thereby causing panic in the area and jeopardizing the efforts of the Security Agencies and the general security of the State. Meanwhile, all the suspects confessed to the crime and were taken into custody for further interrogations.

Meanwhile, the police had commended improved security in Ihiala area which used to be a den of criminals.

In a statement released by the Police spokesman Ikenga Tochukwu, The State Police Command said it remains committed to maintaining public safety and ensuring that individuals are held accountable for actions that incite fear or disturb public peace.
