Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Peter Obi, has called on Nigerians to boldly speak out against the state of things in the country, lamenting that Nigeria is collapsing.Obi made the call in Abuja on Wednesday at a stakeholders engagement by the Nenadi Usman caretaker committee of the LP.
The meeting followed the judgment of the Supreme Court on the leadership crisis rocking the party.
At the meeting, the LP national leader said the prevailing economic realities in the country has impoverished more Nigerians, turning many to beggars.
Recall that the Apex Court on Friday urged labour party to return home to harmonise its leadership tussle.
The court had ruled that matters of election of principal officers in political parties are outside the jurisdiction of the courts.
As part of the judgment, the Supreme Court quashed an earlier ruling by the Court of Appeals on the matter.
