Abdulrasaq Joins Hungarian Giants Kisvarda FC on Five-Year Deal

In a major move for Nigerian football, highly-rated midfielder Popoola Abdulrasaq has completed a transfer to Hungarian top-tier club Kisvarda FC.

The 18-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the Hungarian side, marking a significant step in his footballing career.

Abdulrasaq, who has been a standout performer for Ekiti-based NLO 1 team Olukismet FC, has earned widespread acclaim for his performances on the pitch.

Known for his skillful and intelligent play in midfield, Abdulrasaq has been turning heads in the Nigerian football scene and now gets the chance to showcase his talents in Europe.

The transfer was confirmed in a statement by Olukismet FC, a club renowned for developing young footballing talent under the guidance of experienced coach Gabriel Oladeji Atobaje.

Atobaje, who has mentored several promising players, expressed his excitement and confidence in Abdulrasaq’s potential to thrive in Hungary’s top-flight league.

Coach Atobaje praised Abdulrasaq’s impressive development over the past few seasons, highlighting his strength, intelligence, and technical ability.
