Yahaya Bello Set to Participate in Abuja Charity Run

Former Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Yahaya A. Bello, has been invited to participate in the 2025 event, where he will also be decorated as the Grand Patron of the event.

The marathon, scheduled for April 19 in Abuja, aims to raise awareness and funds for charitable causes while promoting fitness and unity among Nigerians. The invitation was officially extended by Prof. Seberu Yusuf John on behalf of Dr. Chris Oko Odey, the event’s convener.

Speaking during the presentation, Prof. Yusuf John emphasized the marathon’s role in community development and humanitarian efforts. He noted that Bello’s recognition as Grand Patron was in appreciation of his contributions to leadership and philanthropy.

Beyond the honorary title, the former governor is expected to actively participate in the race, showcasing his dedication to health, endurance, and social responsibility.
