Barely days after a tragic explosion at Karu Bridge, another truck accident occurred along the Abuja-Keffi Expressway.
Thankfully, no lives were lost in the latest incident.
According to the FCT Emergency Management Department (FEMD), a fertilizer-laden truck crashed into a Hijet and a dump truck (tipper) under the bridge.
The Acting Director General of FEMD, Engr. Abdulrahman Mohammed, has advised motorists to exercise caution and adhere to traffic regulations.
He assured the public that the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) is working to tow the affected vehicles and prevent a traffic gridlock.
Engr. Abdulrahman also urged drivers to prioritize safety, emphasizing that reckless driving endangers lives and leads to preventable accidents.
