Job Description
As a Website Designer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing visually appealing and user-friendly designs.
You will collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, conceptualize design solutions, and ensure a seamless user experience.
This role requires a combination of leadership, and technical expertise in Website Design and management.
Responsibilities
Leadership:
Provide visionary leadership in setting the design direction for projects and initiatives.
Lead brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and workshops to foster collaboration and innovation.
Project Ownership:
Take ownership of end-to-end design processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables within specified timelines.
Implement best practices to optimize design workflows and increase efficiency.
Website Management and Development:
Design, develop, and maintain websites, ensuring seamless functionality, responsiveness, and optimal performance.
Customize themes and plugins to align with project requirements and client specifications.
Remain abreast of the latest trends and technologies, incorporating innovative solutions into projects.
Oversee website hosting, domain registration, and email setup for clients to ensure smooth project execution.
UI/UX Design:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project goals, target audience, and user requirements.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas.
Develop visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces that enhance user experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with content creators, marketers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
Provide design support throughout the project lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
Client Engagement:
Initiate and maintain strong client relationships.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, goals, and objectives.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Website Design, Website Management, Hosting, Domain, and Email Management.
Proficient in web design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles.
Familiarity with modern design trends and best practices in web aesthetics and user experience.
Strong ability to translate design concepts into functional, visually engaging websites.
In-depth experience with website builders such as Elementor, Spectra, etc.
In-depth knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
Experience in setting up hosting, domain, and emails using platforms such as cPanel, DirectAdmin, Zoho, Google Workspace, or Microsoft 365.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to articulate design concepts and rationale effectively.
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
Proactive in staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
