Job Summary

As our Radio Therapist, you will provide therapeutic support and mental health guidance to individuals via radio broadcasts, offering listeners a safe and supportive environment to address their emotional well-being.

The role combines professional therapeutic expertise with the ability to engage, educate, and connect with an audience through the radio medium.

Responsibilities

Provide thorough and accurate documentation of set-up instructions and treatment parameters and records each day’s treatments

Undertake oncology research in order to improve treatment methods.

Perform Computed Tomography (CT) simulations and Reminiscence Therapy (RT) sessions

Provide individualized radiation therapy treatments to patients, in consultation with the oncology team.

Requirements

B.c or PGD in Radiotherapy

Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RBBN) certification

Minimum of 6-8 years of experience as a radiotherapy or similar role.

Sufficient post registration nursing experience in oncology or specialty to be confident and competent in using the required skills to do the job.
