Labour Party has fixed April 5 as date for its primaries to elect a standard bearer for the November 8 governorship election in Anambra State.
Spokesman of the party, Obiora Ifoh, in a statement released on Tuesday said the decision was arrived at by the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party.
Ifoh`s statement explained that the office of the National Secretary has also published a timetable and schedule of activities for the sale of expression of Interest / Nomination forms.
Sale of the forms will commence on Monday, 10th of February, 2025, while the sale of the delegate form will commence on the 20th of March 2025.
The party has urged all interested aspirants to visit its National Headquarters for “guidelines for the party primaries and other necessary information.”
