NMFB Issues Disclaimer on Fake Loan Offers, Third-Party Agents

Date:

NIRSAL Microfinance Bank (NMFB) has issued a disclaimer alerting the general public to fraudulent activities involving individuals and organizations impersonating the bank. In a statement released on Monday, NMFB warned citizens to be cautious of unauthorized entities claiming to represent the bank or offering financial services under its name.

According to the notice, NMFB clarified that it does not engage third-party agents for loan processing, recruitment, or grant disbursement. Members of the public were advised to avoid falling victim to fraudsters by dealing only through official NMFB channels.

The bank emphasized that its services are provided through official communication platforms and registered branches, urging the public to verify any information regarding its operations before taking action.

“Anyone dealing with unauthorized agents does so at their own risk,” the statement said. NMFB pledged to work with relevant authorities to track and prosecute individuals involved in fraudulent activities.

This warning comes amid growing concerns about scams in the financial sector, with NMFB reiterating its commitment to safeguarding its customers and maintaining transparency in its operations.

The bank advised customers to report suspicious activities immediately through its official helpline and website.
