Description
- Conduct eye exams using optometry equipment and general diagnostic interpretation.
- Diagnose and treat ocular disease.
Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
Recommend appropriate patient follow-up and care options.
Answer questions and provide advice to patients regarding vision and optical issues.
Requirements
Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields with 2 – 10 years work experience.
Salary :
N300,000 – N500,000 monthly.
- Job Title: Optician
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- Assists patients in selecting and fitting eyeglasses or contact lenses by interpreting prescriptions from an optometrist or ophthalmologist, taking facial measurements, advising on lens options, and ensuring proper fit and function of eyewear, while also educating customers on proper care and maintenance of their vision correction devices.
Requirements
A qualification with 2-5 years work experience.
