Nigeria’s Civil Service Commission Begins Recruitment, Sets March 10 Deadline

The Federal Government, through the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC), has announced the commencement of recruitment for various positions within the Federal Civil Service. The application process is now open to interested and eligible Nigerians via the commission’s official recruitment portal.

Application Process and Requirements

In a statement issued on Monday, Taiwo Hassan, Head of Press and Public Relations at the FCSC, emphasized that applicants must apply for only one position to be considered. The vacancy announcement has been published on the commission’s website and in national newspapers.

Applicants are required to submit their applications online via https://recruitment.fedcivilservice.gov.ng and must upload the necessary documents, including:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Ph.D./Master’s Degree Certificate (if applicable)
  • Degree/HND/NCE Certificate
  • WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Certificate
  • Primary School Certificate
  • NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate
  • Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
  • Local Government Identification
  • Recent Passport Photograph

Additionally, physically challenged applicants are required to specify the nature of their disability in their applications.

Application Deadline

All applications must be submitted by Monday, March 10, 2025. The FCSC urges all interested candidates to apply promptly and ensure their applications meet all specified requirements.

This recruitment exercise is part of the government’s broader effort to enhance public service efficiency and provide employment opportunities for qualified Nigerians.
