Dean’s International Excellence Scholarship
Newcastle University Business School is proud to recognise and reward high calibre international applicants who apply to commence full-time postgraduate taught studies.
Value of awards
- 5 awards with a value of £10,000 tuition fee discount
- hold an offer of admission for 2025 entry for an eligible programme (see terms and conditions for eligible programmes)
- you must achieve or hold a UK 1st Class Honours Degree (or its international equivalent)
- hold an English language qualification of IELTS 7.0 or its equivalent with no subskill below 6.0, if your first language is not English
- be assessed as an international student for fee-paying purposes and domiciled in one of the following countries: Taiwan, Hong Kong, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, USA, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan
Start date and duration
September 2025 for one year of study.

How to apply
Eligible candidates will automatically be considered for the Dean’s International Excellence Scholarship as part of their academic course application. Applicants will be considered based on their academic level, English language score and quality of personal statement.
Scholarship deadline
Scholarship awards are made through the academic year and so early application is suggested.
