This information was disclosed in a statement on Monday by NAHCON Chairman, Prof. Abdullahi Usman, through the commission’s Assistant Director of Information and Publication, Fatima Usara.

Prof. Usman explained that the fare was determined after extensive deliberations with key stakeholders, including the presidency and state pilgrims’ boards, to ensure inclusivity and fairness.

“The 2025 Hajj fare for Borno and Adamawa zone’s intending pilgrims is N8.33 million. Similarly, the cost for intending pilgrims from the Southern states is N8.78 million, while pilgrims from the Northern zone will pay N8.46 million,” the statement read.

NAHCON emphasized the importance of early registration and timely payment to ensure a smooth Hajj process, while urging prospective pilgrims to adhere strictly to Saudi Arabia’s guidelines for the pilgrimage.

For further details and a breakdown of the fare, the commission directed intending pilgrims to consult its official website or contact their respective state pilgrims’ welfare boards.

Prof. Usman expressed gratitude to the presidency and other stakeholders for their support, reaffirming NAHCON’s commitment to providing a seamless and spiritually fulfilling Hajj experience for Nigerian pilgrims.

This announcement comes as part of the commission’s ongoing preparations for the 2025 pilgrimage, which also includes securing airlift services and engaging with Saudi officials to finalize logistics.
