Bridge, who was attending the event, entered the ring to confront KSI after the 31-year-old boxer made a sharp comment about Bridge’s infamous fallout with former Chelsea teammate John Terry. In a public feud dating back to 2009, Bridge had accused Terry of having an affair with his ex-partner, Vanessa Perroncel—a matter that was heavily publicized.
KSI taunted Bridge, saying, “Wayne Bridge, aren’t you the guy that let John Terry smash your ex? That is what you are known for.” He went further, singing a provocative chant about the incident.
