Israel has received the list of hostages set to be released today as part of the negotiated framework, the Office of the Prime Minister announced. The security establishment is currently verifying the details of the list, while the families of the hostages have been informed by Brig.-Gen. (Res.) Gal Hirsch, Coordinator for the Hostages and the Missing, through Israel Defense Forces (IDF) representatives.
In a statement, the Prime Minister’s Office urged media and the public to refrain from sharing details of the list to safeguard the privacy of the affected families.
The release coincides with the implementation of a ceasefire in Gaza, scheduled to take effect at 11:15 a.m. This marks the first stage of the framework agreement aimed at de-escalating tensions in the region.
Authorities have emphasized the importance of maintaining discretion and sensitivity throughout the process to ensure the safety and dignity of the hostages and their families.
