Residents of Ayere, in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, turned out in large numbers to receive free medical care provided by the National Lottery Trust Fund, Lapalabras can report.
The initiative, which saw hundreds of beneficiaries, is part of the NLTF’s efforts to fulfill its corporate social responsibility by enhancing healthcare access in underserved communities.
This gesture follows similar interventions by the NLTF, including the donation of critical medical equipment to the Primary Health Centre in Kagoro and sports materials to Government Secondary School in Fadan Kagoma, both in Kaduna State.
Speaking at the event, one of the NLTF representatives said their commitment to using lottery proceeds to improve the quality of life for Nigerians, particularly in rural areas.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the initiative, noting its impact on their well-being.
The NLTF continues to expand its outreach efforts across Nigeria, focusing on health, education and sports development.
