Trump Warns BRICS Nations Over US Dollar

Date:

Donald Trump has recently issued a stern warning to countries considering moving away from the U.S. dollar, particularly targeting BRICS nations—Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa—that have been exploring alternatives to the dollar in international trade.

Speaking at a rally, Trump emphasized that any country shifting away from the dollar would face severe economic penalties, including 100% tariffs on goods imported into the United States.

This warning aligns with the growing global trend of de-dollarization, where countries, including China and Russia, have been seeking to reduce their reliance on the U.S. dollar.

Trump’s stance on this issue is clear: those countries attempting to undermine the dollar’s dominance would be cut off from U.S. markets entirely, signaling a fierce defense of the dollar’s global supremacy
