President Bola Tinubu has expressed confidence that Nigeria’s ongoing economic reforms will not only transform the country but also significantly impact the African continent.

Speaking at a state dinner in his honor at the Palais des Élysée in Paris, Tinubu highlighted the strong ties between Nigeria and France, commending French President Emmanuel Macron for his commitment to Africa.

“Our reform program is a bold step forward for Nigeria’s economy, and there is no turning back,” Tinubu said. “It is in the interest of the entire continent to abandon the missteps of the past and embrace a future driven by courage, optimism, and vision.”

Tinubu assured Macron that his dedication to African development would yield tangible benefits. He also lauded the French President’s hospitality, describing the reception during his state visit as “warm and inspiring.”

The Nigerian leader called on citizens of both nations to strengthen the long-standing relationship between Nigeria and France.
