Senator John Owan Enoh, the Honourable Minister of State for Industry, Trade, and Investment, joined the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment’s third-quarter retreat on Tuesday.
The retreat focused on reviewing and assessing the ministry’s performance concerning its key deliverables.
The ministry plays a pivotal role in achieving President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria’s economic growth.
By emphasising Priority 7: Accelerating Diversification through Industrialisation, Digitisation, and Innovative Technology, FMITI aims to create jobs, boost exports, and enhance the country’s global economic competitiveness.
Speaking at the retreat, Senator Enoh reiterated his commitment to meeting set targets and fulfilling the ministry’s mandates.
“Our focus on innovation and industrialisation provides an immense opportunity to transform our economy, create employment, and position Nigeria as a leader in global trade,” he stated.
This initiative aligns with the government’s broader agenda to drive economic diversification and sustainable development.
The retreat serves as a platform for evaluating progress and strategising on actionable steps to achieve these critical goals.
