Ondo Elections: 83.7% Of Results Has Been Uploaded To IREV-Portal As At 5:30pm

Date:

Nigerian courts have made it clear that the Electoral Act 2022 does not consider the IREV portal to be a central or mandatory component of the election process. However, the Act does emphasize the critical role of the BVAS machines in the election process.

Despite this, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has continued to upload election results to the IREV portal, and the speed of these uploads has been steadily improving.

Nevertheless, it is important to note that the results uploaded to the IREV portal cannot be used to validate or invalidate any claims, as the Electoral Act 2022 does not support such use.
